Our GuestHouse in Margate is a seen-to-be-believed beauty, right on the seafront. Captivatingly designed, it's a unique destination for all manner of 'dos' - from a blue sky (and sea!) meeting, to a house-party at the hottest address on the strip. Fire up the creative juices below by exploring what's on offer with Meetings and Events at No. 42 Margate.

Where the magic happens

No.42 is the impressive roof (directly) under which sits our rooftop bar - further down, we've got 18 rooms in the Main House & 3 Lookout Suites next door (with their own private access - perfect for VIPs). We're home to the most Eastern-outpost of 'Pearly Cow', our fabulous fire & ice concept restaurant, along with No.42's cocktail bar & lounge. Further down still, you'll find the quiet retreat of our treatment rooms. Come on in...

Blue Sky (And Sea!) Meetings

24-Hour Rates & Day Delegate Rates

We've all heard of blue-sky thinking, and sometimes getting the team out of the office into the fresh air is just the ticket. Take things up a notch with a blue-sea meeting in Margate at No.42 - with beach walks on the menu and even a bracing dip in the big blue at your finger tips, combined with our seaside-chic rooms & stunning cuisine in Pearly Cow, it's a recipe for success!

  • Meeting space for up to 12 guests in Morelli's
  • 24-Hour Rates from £245 (in the winter) and from £285 (in the summer), including VAT
  • Day Delegate Rates from £65 including VAT

To bespoke your Blue Sky Meeting, you can opt for all the above fabulosities, minus the food, for the prices below:

  • Morelli's  9am - 5pm £500 | after 6pm £250

Morelli's is available September - May from Monday - Wednesday. Thursday - Sunday is available on request for certain dates.  Morelli's is not available for private hire during June, July and August.

  • Hire of your unique meeting space, the Oyster Bar with sweeping sea views, for one 8-hour period between 9am and 5pm
  • Your own host & barista for the day, to make craft coffees on your breaks
  • Your Private GuestHouse Pantry – Stocked Morning & Afternoon
  • Grazing lunch served in the Oyster Bar
  • With the option to upgrade to 2-course lunch in Pearly Cow, or in the summer months lunch on the rooftop!
  • Dinner in Pearly Cow – 3 courses taken from our Pearly Cow 'Herd' menu
  • With the option to upgrade to a private dinner in the Oyster Bar, with wine tastings etc possible
  • Overnight accommodation in GuestRooms & Large GuestRooms, with upgrades available for larger & sea view rooms & suites
  • Full Pearly Cow Breakfast
  • TV with all the usual connections
  • Back to School Kit containing all your stationery needs; pencils, stapler, calculator, flip chart pens, paper clips, sticky pads and tape

Exclusive Use

As the name sounds, our GuestHouse can be home to your event exclusively - that's right, all yours! From sunset cocktails on the rooftop, to dancing the night away at Pearly Cow, our pad is a very impressive place to take-over indeed. Exclusive Use includes all 21 bedrooms for the night with breakfast the following day - and the rest is up to you!

  • 21 Bedrooms, including breakfast (based on single occupancy)
  • Sit-down dining for up to 45 guests
  • Space to party for up to 100 guests

Available with a minimum total spend (including your accommodation fee and £4,000 towards food & drink) from £8,750 (based on single occupancy).

Pearly Cow group dining

The Pearly Cow terrace is an unbeatable setting for sizzling summer soiree - up to 18 lucky guests can sup and sip with views across the beach & sea. The Margate riviera has never looked so good!

Tables inside can be arranged from 8 to 20 guests (across two tables). If you want exclusive hire of Pearly Cow, that can be arranged too! As with the terrace, we simply ask that you let us know what you'd like to order in advance.

Morelli's

Morelli's accommodates up to 12 guests for an intimate private lunch, afternoon tea, workshop or supper, with a pre-order from the a la carte menu. With views of the big blue, it's a special, intimate space to celebrate and gather in.

Morelli's is available September - May from Monday - Wednesday. Thursday - Sunday is available on request for certain dates.  Morelli's is not available for private hire during June, July and August.

And when all that running around has caught up with the little ones, return to ours for a quiet night in. Parents, we’ll have @yotoplay players on hand for bedtime story duty 😉
