Kate Semple Hand built Vase Workshop
Monday 27th & Thursday 30th November
Join York-based artist Kate Semple to create your own hand built vase. The perfect gift for a loved one this Christmas or just the perfect gift to yourself! And to really complete your creation, we've teamed up with our lovely pal Rachel at House of Dandelion who's put together a beautiful dried flower bouquet to sit pretty in your new vase.
The evening will start at 6.00pm with a glass of something sparkling before you spend the next 3 hours leisurely, chatting away, building your vase, with Kate's expert direction of course until 9.00pm. Then Kate will take your finished vase away to be glazed and fired before posting it back to you or a lucky recipient all in time for Christmas!
The workshop will take place in the private dining space at Pearly Cow, York. There will be tea and coffee available throughout the evening, along with the opportunity to order further drinks and snacks from Pearly Cow with a 10% discount applied.

About the artist:
Kate Semple is a potter who works from her tiny home studio in York. She creates vessels in both paper & clay for galleries and shops across the UK.
“As a visual Artist my different areas of working all respond to each other, often one informs the other whether I'm creating collages or hand building vessels. Ceramics have always been a large part of my life but has become an increasing necessity to my creative process."
