The local scene
A visit to charming York is always a good idea! Steeped in history & adorned with architectural marvels, a simple stroll around the city walls and cobbled streets will captivate you at every turn. There's still time to catch the Colour & Light Festival, lighting up York's Art Gallery each evening, running until 25th Feb.
Despite its rich history, York boasts a thriving modern cultural scene, from immersive exhibitions to show-stopping theatre productions, there's something to satisfy all tastes. York Restaurant Week (11th-17th March) is a fantastic way to discover the buzzing foodie scene, from street food to fine dining.
For your tiny tots, Bluey & Bingo are coming to town! That’s right, the lovable doggy duo will be visiting Whistlestop Valley Railway on 16th-17th March. You can expect a day filled with trainloads of family fun including meet & greets, steam train rides and so much more!
Pearly Cow
Our next-door-neighbourhood restaurant, Pearly Cow, resides in No. 1 and is devoted to respecting what thrives in the Dales, moors, vales and nearby North Sea. Breakfast is light, hearty, or kick-starting, with oysters and spiced-as-you-like bloody Mary's. Come lunch and dinnertime, a carefully curated concept menu is served over fire or ice. Afternoon tea is afternoon sea – a very fresh take on this timeless treat paired with bottomless rosé. And on Sundays, traditional roasts bring a beautiful close to the week (don't miss our monthly Sunday Jazz sessions too).

This offer is available at No.1, York. This is a two-night minimum stay based on two adults sharing. Full pre-payment is taken at the time of booking. Free cancellation up to seven days before arrival. This package doesn't include any allocation for children dining in Pearly Cow, York. Any children's meals taken during the stay can be paid for on departure. This package is available for all room categories.
